The "International Union of Materials Research Societies - International Conference in Asia (IUMRS-ICA 2026)" will be jointly organized by the International Union of Materials Research Societies (IUMRS) and MRS-Taiwan, held at the Tainan Exhibition Center from October 31 to November 4, 2026. This is the most prestigious international event in the Asian materials field, and is expected to attract more than 1,000 scholars, industry leaders, and graduate students from around the world. By bringing together representatives from the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and other regions, it will establish an international platform for technology demonstration, academic publication, and cross-disciplinary cooperation.

This conference focuses on eight core materials fields, covering energy materials, zero-carbon technologies, biomedical/polymer materials, composite/nanomaterials, electronic and optoelectronic materials, metallic materials, AI theoretical computation, and functional ceramics. With 55 symposia planned, more than 400 domestic and international speakers will share cutting-edge research, strengthening the connection between academic research and industrial applications.

During the conference, an Exhibition will be held simultaneously, expected to gather more than 80 booths from around the world, providing a platform for companies to engage in deep exchanges with global academic and industry leaders and expand their cooperation networks.

Online Registration for Exhibition Sponsorship	August 31 (Mon.) or until fully booked	A confirmation email will be sent by the system after registering online. Please complete the payment according to the instructions in the email.
Payment Completion	September 11 (Fri.)	Booth selection priority is determined first by sponsorship amount and number of booths: exhibitors sponsoring more and/or taking more booths have priority. For exhibitors with the same number of booths, booth selection order is determined by payment completion time.
Submission of Advertisement Artwork	By September 11 (Fri.)	If the artwork is not submitted by the deadline, the exhibitor will be considered to have waived the advertisement placement. Advertisement artwork specifications: Full-page color advertisement; 21 cm (W) × 29.7 cm (H); image resolution of at least 300 dpi; AI format preferred, JPG acceptable. The artwork will be used for the exhibitor handbook layout and website advertising. Please submit it here on time to facilitate the editing process.
Exhibitor Online Meeting	September 30 (Wed.)	After registration closes, the committee will verify exhibitors’ information. Exhibitors who meet the exhibition requirements will be notified of the time of the online coordination meeting.

4. Booth Selection Procedure

Designated Online Cloud Spreadsheet

• After the exhibition sponsorship registration deadline on August 31 (Mon.), the booth selection order
  will be announced in the designated online cloud spreadsheet. The detailed booth layout can be referenced in the floor plan below.
• From September 7 to September 10, booth selection will be conducted according to the following priority: exhibitors with higher sponsorship amounts and/or more booths have priority. If exhibitors have the same number of booths, the selection order will be determined by the order in which payment is completed.
• The booth selection time for each priority number will also be announced in the online spreadsheet. The booth selection will be conducted in a phone call.

6. Move-in and Booth Setup

• All setup work must be completed within the designated move-in and construction periods.
  
• All waste generated during booth setup must be cleaned up by the exhibitor and must not be left at the venue. If waste is not properly disposed of, the committee will charge the exhibitor a waste disposal fee and record the incident as a negative record.
  
• All booths must remain strictly within the rented booth area. Booth construction and decoration must not exceed the leased booth boundaries.

• Items installed or constructed by exhibitors must be removed and transported out of the venue as soon as possible after the exhibition ends. If removal and cleanup are not completed by the specified deadline, the organizer may dispose of the items as waste. The exhibitor shall have no objection to such disposal, shall bear all associated costs, and the incident will be recorded as a negative record.
