The "International Union of Materials Research Societies - International Conference in Asia (IUMRS-ICA 2026)" will be jointly organized by the International Union of Materials Research Societies (IUMRS) and MRS-Taiwan, held at the Tainan Exhibition Center from October 31 to November 5, 2026. This is the most prestigious international event in the Asian materials field, and is expected to attract more than 1,000 scholars, industry leaders, and graduate students from around the world. This conference focuses on eight core materials fields, covering energy materials, zero-carbon technologies, biomedical/polymer materials, composite/nanomaterials, electronic and optoelectronic materials, metallic materials, AI theoretical computation, and functional ceramics. With 55 symposia planned, more than 400 domestic and international speakers will share cutting-edge research, strengthening the connection between academic research and industrial applications.
