Poster Presentation Award

  • Poster size: A0 (width 84.1 cm × height 118.9 cm, or no larger than poster board size)
  • Poster board size: Width 95 cm × Height 190 cm 

Authors of the paper poster must post their posters on the poster board within the specified time period and take them back after the presentation. Failure to post the poster on the poster board before each group review session, or failure to appear in front of the poster during the review and scoring process, will automatically disqualify the author from competing for the paper poster award.

Poster Review Items

  • Research Topic and Experimental Methods (30%)
    Originality of the research topic, correctness of the experimental methods, and rigor and accuracy of the analytical derivations.
  • Contribution of Results and Discussion (30%)
    Contribution of research results, completeness of the paper's structure, and specificity and clarity of the results discussion.
  • Poster Production and On-site Explanation (40%)
    Good layout of text and images, clear figures and tables, effectively conveying the paper's meaning, and accurate, concise, and clear explanation.

Awards

Several outstanding and excellent students will be selected from each field as a form of encouragement.

  • Outstanding poster: NT$2000 and a certificate
  • Excellent poster: A certificate

Oral Presentation Award

The IUMRS-ICA 2026 conference will host a student English presentation competition to enhance students' ability to present their research findings and promote scientific research exchange. The organizers will invite judges to score both abstracts and oral presentations, and will select several winners to receive certificates and prize money as encouragement.

Eligibility

Master’s and doctoral students currently enrolled in domestic universities must present a valid student ID for verification purposes.

Selection Process

  1. First Stage: Review committee members will score the submitted manuscripts based on research content (60%) and article structure (40%), and select several papers to advance to the second stage. The results of the first stage will be announced on the conference website in early October. Papers not selected will retain their poster presentation eligibility.
  2. Second Stage: Selected papers will be presented orally in English according to the agenda announced on the official website. Experts and scholars will score the papers based on research content (40%), presentation structure (20%), and presentation skills and Q&A (40%).

Awards

Several winners and honorable mentions will be selected based on merit to encourage outstanding work.

  • Winner: NT$3000 and a certificate
  • Honorable mention: NT$500 and a certificate

Oral Presentation Instructions

  • Only one author per paper may present, and conference registration and payment are required.
  • Each participant will have 10 minutes (8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for Q&A), and the entire presentation must be conducted in English.

  • All presentation materials must be prepared as a PowerPoint presentation and uploaded to the presentation location on the day of the competition.

Organizer
