Since 2005, we have been challenged to develop new materials and electrode reactions fro sustaiable batteries that are free from clostly and toxic metals. Our research group studies on new mateirals on Na-ion and K-ion batteries showing a comparable energy density to mordern Li ion batteries. We will reviews the Na-ion and K-ion chmistries and discuss their oppotunities for sustainable batery technologies and future perspective.
