Dr. Wei Kong Pang is a Principal Research Fellow in the Institute for Superconducting and Electronic Materials, University of Wollongong, Australia. An accomplished materials scientist, he has published more than 200 peer reviewed papers and secured numerous competitive awards, including an ARC Future Fellowship (2017–2020) and multiple ARC grants. His research centres on elucidating atomic scale structures and dynamics using advanced neutron and synchrotron techniques. Through operando characterization, Dr. Pang investigates structure–function relationships to guide the development of high performance functional materials. He received his Ph.D. from Curtin University, Australia, in 2011.
