Tsung-Hui (Alex) Huang is the Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU). His research interests are in computational mechanics, multiscale materials analysis, and physics guided machine learning for extreme mechanics computation and modeling. He has developed advanced meshfree methods for engineering problems involving structure or material under extreme conditions, e.g. high strain-rate, strong hydrodynamical effect, and damage/fragmentation process. He also advanced mechanics enhanced AI/ML modeling for multiscale and multiphysics phenomena, and recently physics informed neural networks (PINNs) on semiconductor manufacturing problems.
