Takashi Harumoto was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1985. He received Ph.D. degree from Department of Metallurgy and Ceramics Science, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2012. From 2012–2015, he was Assist. Prof. at Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Tokyo University of Science, Japan. Later, he returned to Tokyo Institute of Technology / Institute of Science Tokyo as Assist. Prof. at Department of Materials Science and Engineering. He is now Assoc. Prof. and his current research interests include the development of hydrogen sensors, design of novel magnetic devices, principles of magnetism and hydrogenation, and measurement technologies.
